Patience doesn't have much of a social life. She doesn't exactly fit in with the crowd, she wears different clothes, and her music taste is supposedly unacceptable to society. After a family tragedy Patience is stuck living with her aunt Megan. What happens when an unexpected visit by one of her favorite bands, Ghost Town, changes her life forever? *Disclaimer!!!* I do not own any of the Ghost Town material in this fan fiction, sadly. Dreamer is written in Patience's point of view unless stated other wise. Keep an eye out for changes in the point of view. ((: **WARNING** This fan fiction contains vulgar language, and deals with mental disorders and such. Note: This is my first time writing a fan fiction so please feel free to comment and let me know if you like it! Thanks!!!

Harmony Knight never knew much about her dad. He died just before she was born, and her mom refuses to talk about him, like mentioning his name might summon ghosts. Living in Los Angeles, she's learned to stop asking questions and start moving forward, even if part of her heart still aches for answers. One day, she stumbles upon something impossible, a ghost band trapped between life and death, still playing like it's 1995. And then there's Luke: the charming, reckless lead singer who shouldn't exist, yet makes her feel more alive than anyone ever has. As she starts spending more time with Luke and his band, the line between the living and the dead begins to blur. Dreams become more vivid, music pulses with a kind of magic, and she discovers she's connected to this ghostly world in ways nobody can explain. With each note, with every glance from Luke, she's pulled deeper into a mystery that goes far beyond music and first love. But the spirits aren't the only ones with unfinished business. A powerful and dangerous force lurks in the shadows of this world, one with a dark history tied to the Orpheum, to Luke... and maybe even to her herself. As secrets rise and the past begins to unravel, she must face the truth she's been unknowingly chasing her whole life: that some connections run deeper than blood, and some love stories are written in the stars... or maybe in the afterlife.
