Life never returned to normal after the original COVID-19 pandemic. Just as fast as doctors were researching potential cures and vaccines, new attributes of the virus were being discovered that complicated previous findings. It's been years since the original virus appeared and there is seemingly no hope left.

To further complicate matters, political tensions increased as it came to light why the pandemic even happened in the first place. Conspiracy turned to truth when the Hu Regime blatantly came forward with their goal to expand the Chinese empire.

Kaedyn is a young American who lost her family in the chaos that ensued. She has found herself in the position to survive on her own out in the country side. She does this by putting on her tough and rugged persona, while hiding her true personality and thoughts.

Taehyung is a South Korean, who made it his goal to travel the world while he was young and before the virus made it completely impossible. He made this decision despite his family's wishes and now he is stuck in a foreign country all alone.

When the two meet, they must learn to depend on one another as the world crumbles.
