When Kotori Honda goes to visit her cousin, Tohru, she is met with something she didn't expect. Tohru has moved away from her grandpa, camped out in a tent for a week or two, and is now living with a couple of teenagers and an odd man. But that's not the end of surprises for poor Kotori, the family that Tohru is living with is cursed with the Chinese Zodiac. Whenever they're upset, stressed, or hug a person of opposite sex they turn into the animal they are cursed with.

Now Kotori has to deal with this for 2 months? Her life takes a turn when she accidently falls for one of the victims of the Zodiac.
