A girl named Annabeth travels to Australia to visit her boyfriend, Jordan Fletcher, who had come there on a business trip. She still has to board a boat to the island her boyfriend is currently staying at, so she hires someone to take her to the island on a boat. That someone happened to be Percy Jackson, the American who has lived in Australia for most of his life. During the trip to the island where Annabeth's boyfriend is, they become stranded on a deserted island.
