"D-Dean... I t-think- I think I love you..." Castiel Novak said boldly, but quietly. The Winchester stared in disbelief. This was not happening it was to surreal.
"Dean?" Cas asked, his heartbreak clear in his voice.
"I uh gotta go... S-sorry Cas...." Dean said rushing to the impala. He tried to block out the sound of Cas' knees hitting the ground..

But I left him alone. I got scared, so I ran and left him alone. It is my fault." Dean grunted quietly. He could feel the tears stinging his eyes. He tried to blink them away but his vision got blurry. He took Cas' hand in his own, kissing the hurt boys knuckles. He'd make up for this, Dean swore that one day he'd make up for leaving Cas behind.
"Yes Gabe, I'm gay. I have accepted it for over two years now. And yes I hAve a crush on you, please don't let this ruin our friend ship..." The youngest Winchester confessed, pleading clearly in his eyes.
"Sam, friendship isn't a relationship I want now..."

The Winchester boys had lived next door to Novaks for as long as anyone in the sleepy little town could remember. Cas and Dean were always best friends, joined at the hip was an understatement. It wasn't until they got into high school, they finally acted upon their feelings of intense love for each other. Inseparable, utterly, stupidly and madly in love. They were both shattered, but their broken edges fit together perfectly. Both suffering from abusive households, both with a brother that they'd die for. Meant for each other. Until that fateful day, when Cas woke up on their 2 and 1/2 year anniversary, after the best night of his life, and found Dean gone, no note, and his place on the bed cold. Our story takes place 6 years later, when the Winchesters are back in town for college, and the Novaks never left. It's time for this sleepy town to be reawakened. Dean and Cas are 23, Sam is 22, Gabe is 24 Deans also more like his early season self, y'know when he was still vaguely in touch with his emotions (PSA: Trigger warnings will be at the top of each chapter if needed, stay safe my silver nuggets. Please. Nothing graphic, just description from what my personal experience with all of it has been. Also, time is a weird thing in this book, it doesn't quite make sense. Colors //Destiel Fanfic
Dean got into an accident and was most likely going to die, but a miracle happens and Dean lives but for some reason he can't see colors any more, all he sees is a grayscale of it so they all look dull. As time progresses, Dean still never got used to the same black and white filter of the world. All he wanted was to see colors again. One day, Dean notices a student who was filled with colors. That student ended up being Castiel, the angel who saved Dean but did not restore his eyesight to normal. When Cas first found Dean, he cured him and became his guardian angel for quite some time and he eventually fell in love with him. One day, Dean finally got the guts to talk to Castiel and suddenly his world was full of colors. When Winter Graham moves to South Dakota with Sam, Dean, and Bobby, she finds out her distant friends aren't all that they seem. They're hunters of the supernatural, and now she is too. The brothers are stationary, staying at Bobby's, which means they have to go to high school. In Math class, Winter notices Dean has a particular interest in a guy named Castiel Novak, so she takes matters into her own hands, juggling hunting, homework, and a relationship that isn't even her own. Things work out just fine until an awry incident causes Dean and Cas to go missing after school one day. Soon after, a life-threatening trade may just cause Winter her life, but maybe it's worth it. This story involves Teen!Cas and Teen!Dean, so I suppose you could call it a high-school AU. The story is under major construction, so some parts are going to be a little jagged until i can go back and edit them. It's non-slash, but more on the fluffy side. He can't help but notice his magnificent ocean blue eyes, and the way he tilts his head when he's confused about something, or his raven black sex hair. Dean couldn't help but feel an ache in his chest every time he sees him, but he had no clue why. Castiel Novak only had two years of school left before he could finally escape the hell that is Sioux Falls High School. Every since he moved here he's had a hard time making friends. After all, being gay wasn't a good thing to be at his school. He would constantly get mentally and emotionally abused by his classmates. Two more years, he kept telling himself, and then he would graduate and get a degree in fine arts. When the new English teacher, Mr. Winchester, shows up Castiel immediately takes interest. Maybe, it was his gorgeous Emerald green eyes, or his ashy blonde hair that was always spiked up perfectly. Whatever it was, Castiel knew he would like this new teacher. "Was there something you wanted to say?" I nodded my head as he tore the tape from my mouth. I had to bite my tongue to stop from hissing in pain, readjusting my jaw as it felt stiff. Meanwhile, Dean and Sam Winchester's father hasn't been home in a long while. Fearing the worst, they contact their uncle, John's younger brother, Michael Henry Winchester. Michael discovers John has been possessed by the demon who killed his wife and is after Sam, so he moves the three of them to a small lumbering town to hide the boys. Unfortunately, it's the same town Lucifer has been hiding for the past couple years. Lots of overdoing. Castiel Novak was a 22 years old bass guitarist in a band called "Kings Of Purgatory" with his best friends Dean, Gabe and Benny. The band was gaining popularity and the guys were getting more and more famous everyday; but there was a problem. Cas had been crushing on his fellow band mate for 4 years now. It wasn't THAT bad at first. Yeah, Dean didn't probably didn't share his feelings but he was still there, right next to him, every day; which was more than enough for Cas. Until he, like the flick of a switch, wasn't. Now Cas was overanalyzing, and overthinking; why was Dean being so distant to him all of a sudden? // this is a destiel au (alternative universe) with lots of sabriel on the side. there are no monsters, no demons, no angels, and especially no wendigos *audible wink* in this fanfiction. there are no deaths, no self harm, no triggers I know of, mild swearing, and no smut (except it's hinted). if there is anything that bothers you with this fic, please message me. also if you spot any mistakes or triggers, again, message me. if you would like to leave constructive criticism, please do because that will be very... constructive.
