Elanil just wanted one thing her whole life. She trained since she could walk and studied since she could read her name. When she finally reached the minimum age to enter, two-hundred and twenty-one, she took the chance. She wanted to become an Archer for the League of Knights. She wanted to fight in the war and feel the adrenaline, feel the pleasure of winning a battle, or coming home safely with comrades.

The Knight brought a strong hand up to his face and pinched the bridge of his nose.
“Yes, but we have certain rules we cannot bend, even for someone that is as good as a marksman as you.” He tried to convince her with a stern tone and a hand placed firmly on the papers in front of him. Elanil huffed angrily and gripped her bow tightly again.
“Fine, but what rules are you supposedly bending if you accept me?” She asked ready to leave the Castle now. The Knight paused for a second then let out a tired breath of air.
“There are no women allowed in battle, as stated by The League.” He said then stood up swiftly with unnatural grace and exited through a door behind him.
It felt as though water has just been thrown in her face from the shock and she felt the horrible feeling that tore at her heart.

Elanil is determined to prove that the League was wrong and women can fight in battles. She is on a quest to prove that females are equal to men.

Esme had one big fear in life: being captured as a thief by the city's guardsmen and being executed for her crimes, and that so heavily weighed on her mind that she increased her risks by being distracted in the middle of a heist. That's when she runs into Althalos Fourthborn: Inner Circle Guardsman, one of the many princes of the realm, an Aelif (Dark Elf, local dialect)...and her betrothed by treaty. (That was something her almost human mind could not handle.) So she calls off the heist, gets demoted into a far more risky job, learns the true bitter depth of what this treaty's bond is like, and lands safely by her prince's side....sort of. There were people who still wanted to end her life, even if she was in what most people would call a Happily Ever After. That and her prince had his own living fears that were gnawing at any chance they had. That and she might just lose her mind from everyday boredom. But the one she couldn't wrap her all-too human mind around was that she would one day grow wings and fly away from her almost Happily Ever After to live in a hive with ancestors more alien than a hottie with pointed ears and abandonment issues. ~~~~ Yes, there are adult themes in this book, and difficult subjects, but nothing is excessive, as this is probably my simplest story. So, trigger warnings: A history of assault. Occasional vulgar language. References to partial cannibaliam. Extremely mild, light, and rare sex scenes. At least one elitist mentality. ~~~~ Ages of MC/ML: Esme: Apparent age of 24, roughly 20 years lived (mostly human). Althalos: Apparent age of 30, roughly 65 years lived (Elves mature slower).

Bree was a modern girl reborn into the world of shifters, as a bunny. This was obviously a cruel joke since she had died in her previous life by being mauled. In this new world, females were few due to the warlike environment. The different clans would constantly fight over land and resources. Females were considered the most valuable resource. If females refused to find at least two mates by the time they matured, they would be sold. You didn't want to be sold. Sold females were considered property and would get a mark of slavery on them. Because females were so expensive, they were usually bought by whole communities to be shared by unmated males. The mark of slavery prevented them from contracting a mate and therefor accumulating power and territory. You needed to create a strong home by contracting with powerful shifters. After contracting, they would receive your mark and become your champion. They would fight for your honor, use their magic ability for your benefit, and provide for you. In return, you were expected to produce eggs. Males could be the leader of a clan, but a female could take over large territories by contracting the strong clan leaders. After expanding her territory, a female would be considered nobility. The stronger their champions, the better their resources and territory. Larger area's typically had one queen female and her court made up of nobility. Every double full moon, they would fight for the honor to have their female enter the queen's court. At the end of the queen's reign, she could choose a new queen from her court. In the midst of all this, Bree discovered her own magic power, 'Otome Gamer.' While Bree is trying to fulfill her quests, and an ultimate goal that would change everything, a frightening darkness is spreading, and shifters start to disappear. Along her journey, Bree makes friends and discovers that fated mates actually exist. Please don't copy or steal my story or ideas. Thanks 🥰

*COMPLETED* My head bowed in a heavy mannor, not in respect, but in trepidation. I discern his unwavering gaze over my ill silhouette. "Look at me." I opened my eyes, though it made no difference. Black is still black, all I am left with are my four senses. He will kill me if I don't look. He will kill me if I do. He will look into my sightless eyes and see my futile existence isn't worth living. He will kill me, and he will be doing the pack a justice by it. He growls a low, throaty snarl to warn me about disobeying an alpha. There will be consequences, we both know that. His lingering growls let me know he is not going to allow me to contravene his word. I steadily inch my head upwards, visibly shaking everywhere else. Maybe he won't notice my depthless eyes from across the gazebo. My life depends on it. "You're blind." ~ Monet was born into a particularly prestigious area of her wolf pack, to parents of extremely high standards. Her legacy is to become the packs next healer, but when she was born completely devoid of melanin, all her mated parents saw was a disappointment. He gave me a feline smile as he stalked toward me. I backed away until my heels hit the stall wall and he took advantage of my surprise by stepping in to me, his body a mere whisper from mine. "That's good, Evelyn," he murmured and brushed a strand of hair behind my ear. My heart was pounding and I knew my face was betraying everything I was feeling. Damn him. I didn't want to feel this excited clench in my stomach. I didn't want to feel this longing for him. "What are you doing?" My voice was shakier than I would've hoped and far too breathy. "Something I've wanted to do for a very long time." *************************************************** Two hundred years after a powerful sorceress eliminated all modern technology and most of Earth's population, the people left behind live happily with no electricity, no motorized machinery - no advanced technology of any kind. Her abilities don't allow her to know the emotions of people - or so she thinks. When Broderick Ryan, the next leader of his and Evelyn's province, returns home after being gone for five years, Evelyn discovers she's much more than an empathic horse trainer. Frightening and rare abilities begin to manifest and she's left reeling when she discovers why. Evelyn and Broderick find themselves drawn to each other as they discover the secrets of her unknown past and fight to keep themselves, and their province, safe from those who wish them harm.

"His lips left my neck, the pleasure suddenly coming to an end. I opened my eyes and looked to his lips, now covered in a thick layer of my blood, his tongue licking it from them slowly. I didn't want him to stop, I wanted to feel him against me, I wanted to give him my all. He looked to my eyes, smirking to himself. He knew the hold that he had on me, he knew that I didn't want to give this up. He knew this was the only way to connect us now. His hand held my waist tighter, pulling me against his hard body as his other hand moved the hair from my neck. He looked to me, his bright red eyes hungry for more. I didn't struggle, I wanted this, I craved it. His mouth moved just under my jaw, licking my skin smoothly. My hand shot to the back of his head, weaving my fingers through his jet black hair. I could feel his teeth rubbing against me, I let out a small gasp, before he bit into me. The pain only lasting a second, before the euphoric feeling once again took over. The hand in his hair now feeling slightly numb as I tried my best to cling to him, his body heavy on top of my own. It was then that I knew what I needed to do. I needed to kill the man that I loved." Elora's life was a lie. She has teamed up with three sorcerors in her quest of bringing the Vampists down. As the quest goes on, Elli soon realises, the kingpin of the Vampists, Vadiraj, is nobody but a confused man who strives to earn the respect of his kin. While everyone sees him as a vicious blood-sucker who desires to conquer the kingdom of Reminis, they didn't see his loneliness. While everyone sees him as a vicious man who kills to live, they didn't see he's capable to love. While everyone sees him opening the portal to the human world to get the protective chainmail, they didn't see he's there for a hidden motive. It all starts with a prophecy. __________ I'd like to emphasize that I don't own the pictures or the videos in the Multimedia column. The songs may not have any relation to the story line. They're, however, my favourite. They're not meant to be listened along the story. __________ This story has intense plots and every scene. Please note that English is only my third language. So, if you see any grammatical mistakes, forgive me. I love feedback and will always return the favour. __________ This story has two parts in most of the chapters. The first part is under Elli's POV. It has stronger fantasy cum adventure elements. The second part is under Vadiraj's POV. It's more towards romance and paranormal genres. Hmm, what else? Have fun!
