Legends have it, there was once a princess too. Fair as snow with hair the deepest shade of red. She was cursed, some say. No one can have such beauty hence it's only a lie, others say. Whatever it was, no one could prove her existence and the royal family never made a comment. No princess was ever recorded in the Royal family of Erosiya.

*

Wayne Richardson was just another teenager from a small town called Clenwood. He admired the Royal warriors but was stuck being the son of a blacksmith that made the weapons for the army.
At seventeen, he didn't have much ambition except some which others called his wishful thinking. The quests were only for the Royal warriors. Only Royal Warriors made the Legends. He wished to make one too.

So what happens when it is publicly announced by the King that, Warriors or otherwise, will get a reward if they could get to the far North-eastern side of the Erosiyan Empire and retrieve one thing that is necessary for the Prince's marriage?

Years ago, in the hills surrounding the Black Sea of Turkey, lived those who coward underneath kingdoms of evil. As tribes grew more hatred towards one another, more blood was shed by each tribe. The Tavrens of the Black Sea were known for their ongoing resilience against the kingdom that killed many of their people. The Tavrens, now led by Aslan, the son of the very warrior who is now bedridden from the last war that took place 5 winters ago. This winter is different. This winter, a tribe became an army. This year, it will be HIS turn to kill, to take, and to pay back. The mountains begin to frost as the signs of the first snow begin to take place. At that, Aslan led his men into vengeance. His dominance was not dismissed. His hard and cold demure was never forgotten. And tonight, he will live up to his name. Aslan will kill, yet again. What the Tavrens had not known is that they were feared by the Bashaw's Kingdom. They have not left mercy for the people who live outside the walls that protected the wealthy and the Royals. They new by now, they have no one to protect them from the wrath of the Tavrens. The people were prepared to simply stay put inside. Amongst them, she also hid. Until now.

To a loner named Sun, life's been hard ever since her mother left her because of a power she didn't understand. On her own for just about three moons, she thinks she's hardened and strong enough to take on any cat who comes at her. Oh, how was she wrong. Soon, she runs into the four Clans: CloudClan, HollyClan, BreezeClan, and FlowerClan. She joins CloudClan, determined to start over and make a new life for herself. She doesn't need her mother. She doesn't need anyone but her new family, her Clanmates. On the night of her official welcoming into the Clan, something changes her mind: a prophecy, from the ancestors of her Clanmates. The prophecy states that the "apple will rise." The daughter of the leader, Applefoot, was never friendly with her. Suddenly, a plot seems to be uncovering itself right in front of Sunpaw's eyes. And with her power, she's the perfect candidate to rise to the top and save everyone. But something is stopping her. Something is tainting her soul, persuading her to use her powers for evil, and not good. Unless she can break free of what's binding her, she won't be able to use her powers for good. All she'll be able to do is cause pain, more pain, and even more pain. But it's not so easy, especially when she's got herself tangled in the ropes of the darkness. Suddenly, she realizes that she's no better than Applefoot. Paired with slowly falling hopelessly in love with a cat who never is clear with her, breaking free of her dark insides is seeming harder and harder. If she can't do it, then she'll never be able to see the face of good again. She'll be another apprentice gone wrong, and all she'll be remembered for is darkness. Sunpaw can't let that happen. But unless she figures out how to cut herself free from the darkness, then it will happen. And there will be nothing she can do it about it.

The Enchantress spoke, "Until you learn to love another and earn their love in return, only then will the spell upon you be broken. If you cannot, you will remain a beast for all eternity. Remember this, only love can thaw a frozen heart." Repulsed by his haggard appearance he fled from the sight of the enchantress and back to the castle. Where he confined himself to ruling from the shadows, just like his father. That was the year where winter did not leave. The winds grew stronger, bringing more and more bitter cold air with them. The kingdom grew weak. There was little food and the people were starting to lose hope. Then, one day a letter arrived at every home in the kingdom: there was to be a ball held at the palace. Everyone was invited, and everyone went. The time spent in the palace was grand. That was until one of the guests went missing. A young woman was escorted from the ballroom and was never seen again. Spring returned for a short time, and then winter crashed back down upon the land. And another ball was held. People were skeptical and did not want to attend, but they had no choice. Yet another guest went missing, another woman. The parties continued annually. Everyone in the kingdom was forced to go and every year, another person was escorted away. Most years it was a woman, one year it was a man. It has been six years since the beginning and winter is coming, after yet another short spring. It is time for another masquerade.
