"Lara Honey! Look here. Tooth fairy has left a penny for you.", Dania shouted to get her daughter's attention.
Lara, as her mother called her, came running to her bedroom holding a book in her hand.
"Look baby." Dania enthusiastically extended her hand with a penny in her palm nearer to her face.
Lara examined the coin for a few seconds and Mom, replied in a relaxed tone, "Mom, I saw you put the coin under the pillow. I think it's time for you stop doing this. I am grown up and I understand that there is no such thing as fairy and magic".
The mother looked at her four year old daughter with overwhelming pride and hidden worry. Her mother cupped her cheeks with both her hands and said, "Maybe tooth fairy is a myth. But life is not only logic but also magic. When you grow up, you would come across that magic."

A shocking event makes her cross paths with Alejo, a male witch who has issues trusting other witches. But when it comes to Morana, he feels comfortable and at ease, as well as attracted to her. They are, however, not mates, and as such, he knows that any romantic relationship between them is doomed to fail. To not risk losing her, he therefore does all he can to fight his own feelings. Mirai comes from a long line of witches who have been particularly gifted in using their inner sight. As such, she's trained her sight from a young age. She's always been a disappointment, however, as the only thing she's ever been able to see is the vague image of a girl. On her 18th birthday, Mirai discovers a mark on the back of her neck displaying the number thirty. From her first proper vision, she deduces that unless she finds the girl before the number reaches zero, both of them will die. Only being able to depend on her less than mediocre skills in seeing the future, Mirai sets out to find the girl before the time is up.
