[Torchwood fanfic] Fear was supposed to be behind The Outcast after the Timelords abandoned her in the 21st century. Left alone the half Gallifreyan tried living on her own, and she did for some time, until Torchwood found her. That's when project T.O.M. began and The Outcast became known as subject 20-15-13. After that everything went worse, the experiments, torture, insults, and then the Doomsday Invasion. That's where Outcast's story picked up again for the better, surprisingly, and with her unlikely friend they manage to escape with the chaos of Cybermen and Daleks around them. 
  Will it grow worse for The Outcast once more when Torchwood Three finds her or will her distrust of Torchwood be changed? Her friend loved her new home, but Outcast wasn't one to trust others easily. In fact she just wants to leave the past in the past to find a better future away from those she hates, but of course when aliens attack it won't be easy to just leave Shylah behind to face the attack with the Torchwood members. With that burdening her escape plans she decides to end the fight quickly... That is easier thought than done though...All Rights Reserved

This story depicts an alternate timeline wherein Velzard attends Walpurgis after sensing Veldora's presence. She subsequently meets our protagonist and becomes interested in him after his display at the meeting. After thinking for a bit, she decides to move to Tempest and becomes a close ally of Rimuru. Rimuru and Velzard will sometimes be out of character since it's unavoidable. Our protagonist will be more rational and have an actual spine, while Velzard will not be as cold and ruthless as her canon counterpart. Besides, Velzard is missing a lot of characterization, so I decided to write my own interpretation of her personality based on the original light novel. I recommend at least having seen the second season of the anime since my story will pick up from there. This fanfic will follow the main story beats from the original light novel, meaning some arcs will get glossed over if there are little changes. I'm somewhat OC, so expect a lot of chapter edits or updates because I tend to reread chapters and notice minor mistakes here and there. Also, it goes without saying that I do not own the series 'That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime.' Check out and read the original light novel written by Fuse.
