After first learning of the Carlisle Indian Industrial School, research uncovered some shocking and sad details. In this novel, my fictional hero and heroine experience the real-life, heartbreaking circumstances that many Native Americans did. I hope you enjoy Black Bear and Quiet Thunder's journey.
