It is a mini romance story; since this is my own retelling of stars crossed lovers in a different location and time period.
In Victorian London, two families despise each other. The Smith and the Holmes have been like this for many generations. However one day, Clara Victoria Smith (a aspiring artist and writer) and Peter C Holmes (A rising inventor) catch a glimpse of each other when out walking with their families; stuck listening to another dispute. They instantly synthesise with the other and laugh before walking off. A romantic spark is lit!
Not long after, they begin meeting each other almost every day; in secret without telling their parents. This goes on for months as they start to fall into a blossoming and loving relationship. Soon, their parents begin to notice and have a suspicion about what has been going on.....
Short story of true love, parental approval and having your dreams and life choices accepted.
