Hugh Amherst  is a traiter. he abondoned his clan of immortals that is waging a secret war on 18th Century London. oh and did i mention that their Vampires? but as their war plans unfold before Hugh, the misfit "vampire' who dosent have any fangs but still possess the power to turn into his shadow, he will soon realize they are not his only enemys. can he and his small team of "rebels" take down this rising empire before the city of London becomes aware of the war occuring right under their noses, while still proving he's as strong as his foes?

Amelia's been on the streets since she can remember. She was abandoned by her mother on the doorstep of an orphanage run by nuns and was later thrown out of there too due to her unruly and 'unladylike' behaviour. She's been surviving on the streets for many years, stealing for food, rummaging in bins for clothes, scraps of metal or wood, which she uses as makeshift appliances, decorations and weapons. She's had a tough life, but it's made her into the strong, independent and fiery woman she is today. Ezra Beaumont, marquess of Winchester and future Duke, although thanks to his arrogance and narcissistic tendencies, he was sent to work down in the village with the local breadmaker in an attempt to humble him and make him a better person and better ruler by his parents the current Duke and Duchess of Winchester. Amelia's been trying to find her mother for as long as she can remember but all she has is a name. What neither Amelia nor Ezra knew, was that that name would connect them in a way neither would've ever imagined. She finds someone so broken under that cold exterior that she can't help but want to help him. They get thrown into a world of witches, wizards and magic and evil. They set off on a journey to become some of the most powerful witch and wizard to ever live, in order to defeat a great evil. Along the way, they recruit five other individuals each experienced in a different area of magic. Who will love and who will hate? However, he is also aware that other creatures of the night lie in wait. He's always envied his classmates at Chikara University, each born with unique powers. Sometimes, he wonders how he even got admitted, considering he has no powers of his own. At least not the kind the other students were born with. Not to mention, no one has a clue he's a vampire. He's always had a dream, a dream much like the others at his university. Become a hero and save their city from villains that lurk. Train to use the powers they were blessed with. Use them for good.
