He walked down the sidewalk and alowed his boots to smack against the concrete loudly. With the music thumping loudly in his ears he walked deafly through the town. With his head slumped so he looked at the ground as he walked, he counted each footstep between the cracks in the sidewalk. One, two, three... One, two... One... The walk he made a million times. He then stopped and stood, then turned to face the steet parallel to the sidewalk where he stood. As he watched the cars whistle by at an ungodly speed, he took step by step forward to the curb. His feet met the lip to the edge of the sidewalk. Please, he thought, let this be the end. Anther car blurred passed as he closed his eyes and lept forward, the fleeting death that he wanted so badly. He felt a wush of air as the car approached but realized it wasn't the car. Not a second sooner was he laying flat on his back, and his vison blurring as his head screamed in agony. ...Im sorry... It was all he heard before he felt a tingle in his arm, and fell into a dark black void of unconciousness. All Rights Reserved
