In a feudal society years deep into a war in the mountains and on the verge of rebellion in East, four characters each from separate cultures and lifestyles portray their side of the story during the War of Kriegsmere in this dark fantasy landscape of Delwin. Mags, a ten year old girl heads off to a crucial city to ward a sour lord and is met with challenges as the eastern armies seek to claim the prominent and powerful city. Rodrik, a fifteen year old soldier who speaks with angels is off to war in the West to fight the goliaths (thren), only to discover he is recalled and to march east to fight men. Grin'ok is a member of another species, one in which men have been fighting for centuries. He is tasked by an angel to fulfill a duty that will take him across the borders that split the civilizations of men and thren and into a world of fearful men as war rages across the East. Ken, the son of the self proclaimed king of the East must do what he must for his father and for his life as he leads crucial fighting forces in order to gain independence, but darkness lies beneath his courage as the choices that await him in politics and war grow ever more potent. All in all, this story is about people just like you and me. Afraid of the ever changing events unfolding around us, afraid of the things that await around the corner, and afraid of the challenges we must overcome. Welcome to my story. Our story.

The Gods Anew
Millions of years ago, Gods of the heavens rode from the stars to aid the terrestrial heroes in vanquishing the Lord of Darkness. To the depths he rose from for his conquest of souls. To this day, he burns with his demon army in the ethereal flames of hell. Relentless in their efforts are the allies of Gods, clinging to a prophecy of eternal salvation, that the seven elemental Gods who stood the test of time will take birth on this plane again. Saga of Fallen Kings, Book I: The Revenant Prince
The Philosopher King once conquered the known world, his power seemingly unlimited and his armies inexhaustible. Since that time his might has slowly unravelled, and his once steadfast empire has begun to crack, splinter and devour itself. In the isolated Southern Realms, where even magic has abandoned them, none of that matters. For years it has been filled with warring kingdoms, where as many kings die to the blade as to old age, and constant battles tear apart the land. When one such kingdom invades its old enemy, the King and his heir, Prince Caden, are killed. Unable to accept the loss of his family Prince Arian is broken, and when the Philosopher King stretches out his hand in aid, Arian takes it without a second thought. When Caden wakes from death, he's different. His eyes and soul have changed, and he finds a world filled with friends who no longer trust he's even human. Suddenly thrust onto the throne and indebted to the Philosopher King, Caden has no choice but to keep going - he must finish what his father started, and try to survive the machinations of the figure who now owns his fealty. Meanwhile something beyond death stirs for him, desiring nothing more than to drag him back into its embrace. Author's Note: A King of his Own started as a completely random writing session. There was no purpose or direction, but as I kept typing an entire world began to form in my mind that I knew I had to write about. My plan is to turn this story into a veritable medieval fantasy epic that spans an entire world, follows multiple character and storylines, and takes place over many years. The story has quite a grounded, almost 'realistic' start, but many more fantastical elements will be introduced, expanded upon and become central to the narrative.
