A city full of crime. A runaway. A broken girl.

And a boy who piece her back together.
Ruth Donovan, 13 year old girl, has been through a lot. Abuse, bullying, being kicked out of school, and living in a family with no money. She's been waiting to become a teenager her whole life, so that she can escape just that. Her life. Chicago wasn't exactly the ideal escape spot, but then again, if she hadn't gone there, she would have never met Drew Barlow, her saving grace.

But there was this one night, Alison was at her lowest, she didn't care about anything, she didn't know what to do anymore, she was lost and had no where to go, but before anything can happen..an Angel in disguise was there to stop her. Jinri, mainly known as Jin just happened to be around the area and stopped Alison from doing something that she would regret doing once it's already done, she saw in Alison's eyes loneliness and someone that hasn't been loved, so she decided to change that, even if she's been in countless relationships and been in love more than she can count. You ask, how is that possible? Well, Jinri been around for thousands of years or even more, cause of the fact that she blends in with the human world, being the only vampire alive, or so she thought.
