Life is challenging enough as a teenage boy, trying to get by with GCSEs and keeping a social life going along with the distractions of girls and more pleasurable and thrilling past times than school work. But when secrets, powers and prophecies come into the equation life change quite rapidly. When the known world collapses and the survivors are forced to live dangerous nomadic live and war destroying modern resources quickly, who can save them? Twenty years down the line and a group of powerful magical beings known only as the ‘Twelfth’ try to destroy what little order and peace that has been created. When love, honour and friendship are put to the test, who will prevail? And what must be sacrificed to save all that is held dear?
