It's often we hear about break ups, but what does the ex-couple of interest think about years later? Do they still think about one another? Do they want nothing to do with them? Is there still something they wish they had said but never had the chance? Dear, Ex-Boyfriend is a short story written in the form of an apology letter. From one ex to another. It details a series of events that occurred the summer before the couple broke up.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A lonely girl starts writing letters to her ex best friend and former crush and begins placing them in his old locker at the end of everyday. She starts considering the locker to be her new best friend and replacement of him. When things in her life start spiraling out of control, she gets a new surprise when she comes to find that he has opened his old locker finding all the notes she left inside. But aside from him, her and the locker, some things are meant to be let go, forgiven and forgotten. Stuff is said and done and then through it all, they both have things that they forgot to mention.
