Mature
If you've found this story I suppose you've already seen many like this that may seem to be just these main characters: the rich CEO of some big shot company and the lowly girl who doesn't seem to know where she is, surviving on saved up money and working two jobs while she may or may not long to find true love.

This isn't one of those stories.

Sure, there's the CEO (and founder) of a colossal company, but Alicia King is no lowly girl. She's been spoilt by her family and best friend, Stella,- who at this point falls more under the category of 'family' than anywhere else- and it shows in the pompous way she acts and the proud way she carries herself. Alicia has just gotten into the law firm she's been daydreaming about, something she's elated about, and love, well, love for her is a concept she cannot truly fathom.

Nixon is the 3rd book in the Broken Series. (Ryan is the 1st, Brynn is the 2nd) Nixon leaves rehab early because he can't deal with being there anymore. His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
