every year fifteen horses disappear from a village, only to return with their flesh hanging from their bodies. Young teen Trevor must train one of the Unhallowed for the Games. He shares a special connection with the Unhallowed chosen for him and now he must try to bring back the horse he used to know out of the monster the horse is now.
