Freedom In Chains

A prompt/request I got from Dianahearts "A country made for freedom, but bounded by chains"

This is a perspective piece about two lovers who are forbidden to be with each other because it's illegal. In a country supposed to be made for freedom and equality, they are trapped in chains and tortured for being who they are.

- I wasn't feeling super creative this month sadly but I took what you said and added my own twist to it. I wrote this whilst playing guitar so it sounds less like a poem and sounds better as a song but none the less hope you like it. I had a better idea for this and will possibly do it in future but this is all I could think of this month. Hope its okay! -
