After commiting suicide, Dan realizes that death is nothing like the dark silence he had imagined. 14, his probation officer, clarifies the mechanics and principles on which Paradise runs. The two of them embark on a multiversal journey to clear the mess Dan left behind when he took the emergency exit. Being confronted with life again, Dan learns that every act is followed by consequences, that death doesn't protect from regrets and that it's never too late to change.
