Jack and Punzie used to date but they broke up as Punzie didn't want to be with him anymore. Then Punzie found out she was pregnant and had the baby but she ignored it and Jack had to take care of it. Emma, their daughter, was diagnosed with cancer so Jack had to take extra care of her. He became depressed as he had no one to help him raise a child. Emma was recovering and was told that with the right treatment she would be better soon but the treatment could cause breathing problems. Elsa and jack used to be close until Elsa's parents died and she shut everyone out. Elsa went to medical for 5years and when she finished she went back home and lived with her sister Anna. Elsa and Jack became close again and Elsa helped Jack look after Emma who was now 6. Jack fell in love with Elsa and Emma grew fond of her and thought she would be the perfect mum
