Valentina watched in sheare horror as the truth unraveled itself before her eyes. The long forgotten memories flared in her mind, swarming, stinging like a heard of angry wasps. Aiden had lied to her, to protect her he said. He hadn't told her anything and in result of that she hadn't been prepared for the worst. The worst with the name of 'Garion' he was a vampire, a cold blooded creature of the night. Lethal in so many ways like a cobra coiled and ready to kill, sinking it's fangs induced in the most toxic venom ever known. Garion had also been a good friend, but after his betrayal she felt he wasn't worthy of the title no more. Neither was Aiden, he was a hunter, raised and trained to destroy beings like Garion-born to stain his hands by staking the undead.
