When Eva woke up one seemingly normal day, she didn't expect for a moment that within hours her past would be back to haunt her. A splash of coffee and she saw his face, a tumble of glasses and she heard his voice rushing towards her,
"Hey! Are you al-" The strangers voice stopped suddenly, "Eva?"
That was the moment a new adventure would begin, a future with a past she had tried so desperately to forget. A new beginning where she could escape her scarring mind puzzle, but would it be as amazing as he had described, or would she be forever shielding herself with the mask that covered her face?

"No," I whispered in pure disbelief, "You can't be Ashton, that can't be." My voice cracked making me feel weaker in his eyes. I stared at the man in front of me, waves of shock lighting through my body. This wasn't Ashton. I always knew there were two sides to him. I frowned, thrown off "Do i...remember?" "Do you remember..." she starts but her voice falters. She glances down at the sand, biting her lip debating whether to even continue. She then takes a shaky breath and finally looks up. Eyes locking with mine " do you even remember how you got it?" Her question hits me like a slap.
