Daunting prospect this dating malarky,
Looking to make new friends,
Never knowing what to expect,
Is this just a means to an ends?.
XxX
Is this wishful thinking,
Hoping for the person of dreams,
Filling an inner longing,
Just needing some love it seems.
XxX
I'm hoping for a connection,
Understanding,appreciation of life,
Should never not be our intention,
To go on so alone through our strife.
XxX
We all grow older,wiser,given time,
Crossing paths with many, experiences so sublime,
Never really sinking in as they happen,
Just struggle on through life at that time.
XxX
I just want a life long partner,
Someone there to stand at my side,
Not out to gain points or to slaughter,
The feelings I hide deep inside.
XxX
Nurture and care for each other,
Be there when the other feels pain,
Sharing magical moments,
That each will strive to obtain.
XxX
Cause life's not about what you or to!,
Really never mr mrs jones,
It's all about what you could do!,
Skipping on experiences like stones.
XxX
My words to many are meaningless,
They are content in their own lives,
Happy with their own existence,
Loving husbands and wives.
XxX
And yes I believe life's for sharing,
No one should ever be alone,
What matters is the person you share with,
Each should feel love to the bone.
XxX
So yes singletons a daunting prospect,
And dating sites could be the solution?,
Just hope people truly see me!,
Instead of their mythical confusion.

She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers.
I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism.
I really hope none of you relate with any of these :)
I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can.
The poems are not in any order. They are just the thoughts that pop up any time of the day.
