Annabeth was back in California, with her father, brothers, and step-mom. Where she was currently scolding Matthew for bending the pages in her favorite book.
Piper was currently in a "borrowed" pick-up truck about five miles away from the state line of California, two police men were following her closely.
Hazel was sitting below a beautiful tree in her favorite park in New Orleans. It was across the street from that vaguely familiar school that had shut down so many years ago.
Frank was shooting arrows into random trees and other targets. As he ran through the cold, snowy, woods of Canada, the bitter cold nipped at his ears and nose.
