BEWARE: Not ALL stories have a happy ending.

Aquarius Brooke, a practical, though a little rebellious, girl from District 4, is drawn into the Capitol's twisted Game in an unexpected way, as well as Trent Foster, the overbearing bad boy who she happens to have a Love/Hate relationship with. Together they survive much of the Game but it is inevitable that one of them will die, But who? And how does President Snow tie into her recently deceased father's unfortunate accident? And why is President Snow out to get her?

❝Who are you? Who 𝘢𝘮 I?❞ ✑✑✑✑ All tributes know when and how they get in the Arena. The Victor, however, never knows when or how they get out. Not until Claudius Templesmith announces their name and district to the entire nation. Once the tribute becomes a victor, they're taken out of the Arena. Only to eventually realise they never truly escaped. The nightmares, the cameras, the deals, nothing ever lets them forget. Their entire lives, they're reminded of what they did. The mask of luxury that covers their sleepless nights and destructive thoughts, is kept in place by the finest glue known to President Snow; a bit of hope mixed in the bowl of darkness and fear. There's but one problem with that mask. For it to work, the victor must have two essential things; haunting vivid memories and loved ones they would trade their lives to protect. One without the other is to no use. So when Olive Navin Cresta survives the 69th Hunger Games with no recollection of her time in the Arena, the mask gets destroyed before it's even placed. Please, don't forget, the odds are never in our favour. ✑✑✑✑✑✑✑✑✑ 𝕒𝕞𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕚𝕒𝕔 /𝕒𝕞ˈ𝕟𝕚ː𝕫ɪ𝕒𝕜/ 𝕟𝕠𝕦𝕟, '𝕒 𝕡𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕠𝕟 𝕖𝕩𝕡𝕖𝕣𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕔𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕒 𝕡𝕒𝕣𝕥𝕚𝕒𝕝 𝕠𝕣 𝕥𝕠𝕥𝕒𝕝 𝕝𝕠𝕤𝕤 𝕠𝕗 𝕞𝕖𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕪.' ✑✑✑✑✑✑✑✑✑ I DO NOT OWN THE HUNGER GAMES I only own my OC and part of her family. My representation of the 69th Hunger Games, a few side characters that aren't mentioned in the book, and their backstory. The book is based off The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. PRE-HUNGERGAMES―POST-MOCKINGJAY DISCLAIMERS―Typical Hunger Games violence and death. Language.
