Rayne is not your average bounty hunter.

Part of a special programme of half-breeds - human/demon hybrids - that are born for one special purpose. They walk the earth and hunt those whose souls tread too close to the line and risk throwing off the precarious balance of the world; descending all life as we know it into chaos.

The hunters collect their bounty of human souls to be sacrificed in Hell, and the world keeps on turning. But with the taint of human morality running in her veins, for Rayne, the job's never quite as easy as it would seem.

5 parts Complete Mature
My name is Rayne and I've always been alone in life. Except for him... the Demon that watches me in the night. Reavers are ruthless, blood thirsty creatures. Disguised as distinguished gentlemen in suits and ties, the brothers will kill without rhyme or reason. I have only ever known to fear them. Everything about them is made to attract you. To make you forget that you should be fucking running the opposite direction. And it works... it works well. I live under the protection of the most feared Alpha of the most powerful pack in the world. But even he is afraid of the brothers. The Reaver with eyes of molten gold, hunts me like it's a fucking game. He follows me, watches me in secret, and makes himself known if I do something he doesn't like... It's been eight years since he laid his claim on me, but he should have let me fucking drown. He tries to control every aspect of my life, but I will do what I want, when I want, and I would like to see him try and fucking stop me. In fact, I'm counting on it... I refuse to be anyone's puppet. Not the Demon who watches me, not my Alpha's, and sure as fuck not the Demon's younger brother. My Wolf, Wynter, may be infatuated, but all I am is determined to prove that I don't belong to anyone. I've heard the whispers. I know there's something different about me... but that gives exactly no one the right to think they fucking own me. How much am I willing to give up to prove that point? I ask myself this question, and then make a choice... a choice that nearly destroys me. But now I'm fucking pissed. Lucky for me, The Darkness would never let me face this trauma alone... with The Darkness on my side, I feel fucking invincible, and I'm going to go out of my way to make sure that everyone knows exactly where I fucking stand. Tales from the Wasteland | The No Leaf Clover

22 parts Complete Mature

Heaven has fallen, leaving behind a scarred visage of the world. The lands are now crawling with all manner of vile creatures: demons, werewolves, vampires, and other unimaginable horrors, all competing to control their own little niche in this new world. Humanity's only defense against such evil are the hunters; men and women who stand face-to-face against all things that go bump in the night. Rod Calaway, a hunter of the southern territories, nicknamed the No Leaf Clover, tirelessly wanders the Wasteland eradicating these foul creatures in hopes of one day restoring the pendulum of life back to balance. On his return home, Rod is given a new contract. One that will set in motion a series of events that will alter the world once again. The task will send Rod on a journey north to the Dark City, Orgrimdeare, where he'll participate in a tournament to the death. With the help of a malevolent force known as the Dark One, Rod will unleash a corrupting power to defeat the evil that inhabits the Wasteland but exacting a terrible cost. All is not completely lost, for Rod's trail leads him back to old friends, who together must face a demon that drove the rift between them years ago.
