An artist always needs a muse. When a Banksy-esque artist pops up onto the art scene creating scandalous paintings of high class socialites in compromising positions, signing everything with a cynical and grating 'A', it's no wonder why the gentry are up in arms about it. But all is not what it seems; the women in the art are all willing, willing for the pleasure of posing and the admiration that follows, and the reward of cold hard cash at the end.

No wonder it's the first place Anastasia turns up when money becomes more than a problem and she realises that being the head of a crumbling household is far more than she can handle. Succumbing to the desires to be a woman, and just a woman, she does what she knows will tarnish whatever dignity she has left, and the elusive A acquires a new model.
