The Story Behind the Slipper by Written-Wonders

We all know the classic story of a girl who lost her glass slipper running away from her dreams, and racing back to her sad reality of being a peasant maid for her own step-mother and step-sisters, the only family she has left. Yes, this is a story based on none other than the character of Cinderella. However...this rendition of telling the tale is quite different. This quick-read is all written in the form of haikus; a form of poetry that is written in a 5/7/5 syllable count. In this story, you learn about the lives these characters really lived behind the scenes of the happily ever after that we all know to be. You'll discover rich amounts of character development from minor characters and learn major mic-drops about the major characters. You all know the story of Cinderella. The story of how she was a servant with an evil step-mother and step-sisters. Remember how she went to a ball and fell in love with the prince. After the ball Cinderella tried on a glass slipper and married the prince. Well, this isn't your typical Cinderella story. This is a tale of how a lowly blacksmith's apprentice fell in love with a Princess; a Princess who wasn't a typical Princess. This Princess loved anything to do with sporting and fighting while her parents wanted her to be more like her cousin Cinderella.
