Pamela McCloud can make everything she wants come true. It’s like having a genie, minus the three-wishes-only rule, of course. All she has to do is say what she wants at night and when she wakes up the next morning, she’ll get it. As a teenager, she takes advantage of that ability and starts asking for all the superficial things she could think of. Popularity, friendship, love, pain, and a jumble of wishes make her a different person (and definitely not a better person). One specific event shows how much she’s changed and her wishes stop coming true. Wishing for her life to go back to the way it was at the beginning of the school year will not help this time. She needs to make it happen on her own.All Rights Reserved
