Cold Sunshine is Rootless on the Solstice

My best friend doesn't live in the safest of environments, and isn't sure about what to about their situation. I am supposed to help them by bringing them home when their house becomes hostile, but I failed that task once and these stories will be about how I fear this will keep spiraling down until it eats both of us alive. I just hope I can help her before it's over and they win.
