She was interrupted once again by the throat clearing curtain monster. "M-more important matter to discuss," she gave a shaky breath, " now I know this is going to sound a little bit...how do I say--batshitcrazy--You guys aren't like other people. Have you ever wondered why there is a separate entire dorm building made for at least 300 students only for 12, why you have your own tables at lunch, or why you don't have any classes with the other kids except for your electives?" "No not really..." The girl next to the blurter answered. "Oh my God Seleste, you shut the hell up too." The same guy said irritatingly. "You weren't suppose to be brought together so soon, but we have no choice at the moment. It might be hard to stomach, but you guys are the 12 zodiac signs, Aries--Aaron Reed, Taurus--Theodore Avery, Gemini--Gwenivive Mitchell, Cancer--Candace Chang, Leo--Lydia Emerson, Virgo--Vivian Gretchen, Libra--Lia Adams, Scorpio--Syllis O'Connell, Sagittarius--Seleste Leoir, Capricorn--Connor Parish, Aquarius--Angus Waters, and Pisces--Eli Sanders. The reason you're here, is to save the world." She continued. Eerie silence flooded the spacious area. Only the shuffling of uncomfortable bodies were heard. "What the hell are a bunch of horoscopes suppose to do? Is this some kind of sick fucking joke?" The "quiet" guy of the front row launched. "And he was telling me to shut up..." Seleste murmured. "You guys are the descendants of the constellation zodiacs. I know you won't believe me but trust me whe-" "I believe you," "Yeah, me too. I also believe in unicorns and the tooth fairy. Oh, and did I forget to tell you? I'm half mermaid." "Don't you bring unicorns into this, they are real! I shall prove it!" • • • There is a legend that, a long time ago, a dozen beings were disgraced. They were cast down to earth, banished from the heavens. The gods turned away from their pleas. They eventually blended into the crowd and lived lives as humans. They were never to be seen again. They were The Zodiacs. However, they're just a made up story. Isn't it? Things shake up when twelve students show up at Nova Institute Of Astrology, twelve students with 'unique' names. They seem like normal teenagers until an evil being descends upon the school seeking revenge upon them. Why, you ask? Well, because apparently, his ancestor was ridiculed and kicked out of the being a Zodiac. Talk about holding a grudge, am I right? A teacher leads them away from their boarding school, their normal lives and everything they know. Leads them to a large cabin in the woods. She tells them that they're magical and have powers. Okay, What? Apparently, they are the only ones who can defeat him. That's where the big question comes in: Can they actually defeat him? But, I mean, who believes they have powers right. Right? • • • • Highest Rank: #785 in Fantasy - 03/08/18 • • • • • All rights reserved. All credit goes to the owners of media used in this story.
