Blank Canvas

Sylvia hasn't had the easiest life. At just 16, she's alone in the world, having lost her parents in a car accident, then her sister a year later to cancer. Things look pretty bad, as she struggles to cope with her grief, expressing herself through art and music. Then she's given a fresh start, or a 'blank canvas' as she likes to call it, when she's sent to live in a social children's home, and she's determined not to ruin that 'blank canvas'. But when fate's never been on your side, it's hard to create a masterpiece.
