Ghosts. We all have them. Whether it be someone from your past who you just can't forget, or someone close to you who died. Zayn Malik had a ghost. His best friend, Collin, had died a few years ago.
Collin was Zayn's best friend. Zayn told everything to him, and Collin was the first person that Zayn came out to. From a young age, Zayn knew something was different about him. He came out as bisexual back when he was 15.
Zayn's parents were homophobic, more so his father than his mother, so he never told them. In fact, Collin, at the time, was the only person who knew. But, when Zayn was 16, Collin was diagnosed with Leukemia. A kind of cancer that was relentless.
Collin fought for 6 months, and then passed away on Zayn's 17th birthday. The raven haired boy was with his best friend, holding his hand as he let go. But, he'll never forget Collin's last words to him. "I'll watch over you"
