A spurt of fire sped towards Raven. With a loud battle cry, she summoned all her power and slashed a normally mortal battle wound with her sword, into the dragons side. But the dragon was not a normal animal. It reared up with a terrible scream, and slapped her across the cave with his huge, powerful paw. She lay there, still. She was bruised, battered and torn.
