"Turning the pages was like the sun appearing on a day that until now, had been nothing but stormy rain clouds and harsh winds. Memories unlocking as each page was turned, a laugh escaping my lips and a tear of happiness leaking from the corner of my eye"

When Elle wakes up in what seems to be a hospital room (her brain only just managed to form an image out of the blurry shapes in-front of her) she is shocked to find a huddle of complete strangers standing over her. Who are they? Why are they all watching her? But when she discovers that these 'strangers' are actually her family members and closest friends, and she is told that she seems to have lost her memory, Elle struggles to remember who she really is and what was the reason for her current state.
