Self improvement so often leaves us feeling worse than when we started. We know that a new behavior or habit will make us more productive, happy or likable and we give it our best shot but we fail at it. Now, not only didn't we create our new habit but we are down on ourselves for screwing up. It's no wonder we stop trying. After downing my delicious first cup of morning coffee, it occurred to me that I would really, really miss not having my daily ritual. It was actually unthinkable. With that, I experimented. Was my coffee addiction as powerful as I imagined and if so, could I use it to create positive behavior changes? Yes, I could and I did. How simple and effective it was for me and hopefully, for you as well!
