It is the year 2020, and an American team of paleontologists, led by Dr. Rosenthal, have sent out a distress signal from the Lingshan Islands. He and his team have just dug up what they believe to be an alien artifact. The Korean infantry, led by General Kyong has set siege upon the islands after picking up a signal from the artifact. Thus, Raptor team are sent in, with the core task of evacuating the paleontologists and securing any valuable information they have. From there, things start to go downhill. Raptor team lose members of their team and discover that Rosenthal's find has awoken a mysterious race looking to take back their home planet. Strange things start to happen that could end the entire human race. Forever.

LAURA, a descendant of the Originators, has always known she owns this puzzle, this responsibility. These machines of destruction are responsible for the blazing heat that is incrementally destroying the Earth. What causes complications for Laura's progress is her growing attraction to Merc, oddly because he's as void of a conscience as she is. She needs to figure out if Merc knows where the machines are so she can shut them down. Merc in turn, needs to stop Laura from finding the machines to keep Earth on its path to ruination. They are more powerful than they are letting on, and have no qualms about killing the other.Complete

The Cave
Five co-workers and a guide struggle with a creature, a live relic from the past and from another dimensional plane. The creature is simultaneously lizard and birdlike, while also having anthropoidic characteristics. Once upon a time, this alien race made contact with a lost human Civilization in the region. The two races initially made an alliance, but the greed of some of the humans caused a war to erupt. The discovery and cursory inspection of the cave by one of the characters results in an impromptu, amateur tour. During the journey through the cave one of the co-workers, through a combination of stubbornness, curiosity and willfulness, becomes separated. He stumbles upon a cache of interesting artifacts inside of an oddly inhuman room with alien technology. It is in these confines where he unlocks the being whose last memories of human interaction are still freshly stinging its memory. The group grapples through the tenuous caves trying to escape the creature's vengeful wrath. The ensuing mad flight from the cave to relative safety results in a battle for survival.Complete
