Xander is a hunter he is part of a bloodline trained by none other than Van Helsing himself. Before the day Xander was supposed to inherit the crossbow ,used to kill Dracula, his family was slaughtered, all by blood loss and they all have punctures on their neck, but only a vampire could do that amount of damage however they're exstinct........ For as long as I could remember vampires ruled other humans. I found it that way and I believed that was an injustice. Not like I could do much about it. Once I turned of age, I would be sold as a blood slave, a pet and my life would possibly end. I never liked these creatures to begin with. Adding salt to injury I was bought by a royal vampire, the prince. I cursed the day I was born. Maybe not all vampires were the same, but for humans that was just wishful thinking. (This book has mature mentions, violence, blood, sexual scenes and mature content. Proceed with caution.)

They were deemed so dangerous, that they were hunted by a different species: angels. Vampires and angles had been at war for centuries, with the heavenly-like creatures winning every battle. But it was important to keep the two species separate, as angel blood was the cure to any vampire becoming human again, keeping in mind that once bitten by a vampire, for an angel it was sudden death. However in this day and age, vampires walked freely amongst the city. After all, they needed humans to feed and in order to do that, they had to blend in. The war between vampires and angels had to be kept secret from human kind, and the species had to stay apart. But for one vampire and one angel, it was hard to stay apart, because sometimes you can't help falling in love. COMPLETED.
