A magical place. A prince and a peasant. A happy ending. That's what a fairytale is supposed to be, right?...Right!?
Meet Gale - newly initiated fairy godmother. The only thing she can seem to get right about the job is her body type. The rest...well, she can fake it for a while. However, how far will she have to go to teach a woodland ditz how to woo a prince?

Sweet Dreams: A Modern Fairytale

3 parts Complete

This is inspired by a writing project I supervised when I worked with an elementary student. This writing project was a group project to make their own spin on a fairy tale assigned to the group. It had to have all the main points of their fairy tale, start and and with the common phrases of a fairy tale, and it had to have their own creative spin. My student did Cinderella, and it was so fun to work with him and his group, I wanted to make my own. Our dear Cinderella loves to bake, but she's not exactly looking for love when an opportunity to make a name for herself comes up. As for Prince Charming, he is looking for love, just not in the usual fairy tale fashion. And as usual, there's some extra mischief from the step family, royal family, and fairy godmother. Heaven only knows what's going to happen, right?
