The old stories sing of many pretty things: brave knights in gleaming armour, wise kings loyal to their kingdom, and fair, graceful queens and princesses.
Reality, however, lies far from such songs.
Hundreds of years ago the land of Arax was united under one banner. Now it is nothing but a cold, unyielding land that is completely devoid of heroes. Halflings and mythical Wyverns roam the wilderness to the far west of Arax, as the north and southlands exchange blows with each other in an attempt to usurp their land, and bring Arax under one banner once more. Three factions lie on both sides, waging turmoil across the land.
Only in wartime do the façades of kings shatter, and the earth quiver.
