No one is ever really gone. And no war is truly over. The War of the Roses should have been decided two years ago at Bosworth field. But having something like a contender for the throne, isn't going to stop Francis Lovell from getting his bloody revenge. He blames one man for his beloved friend's death: Jasper Tudor. And he will stop at nothing to make sure he pays. Jasper, meanwhile, is back in England, supposed to be settling into a quieter life. Unfortunately his nephew's wife is afraid of him, his new wife probably hates him, and all his friends and family are long dead, meaning he's more haunted by ghosts than anything. And an old spy, an old soldier, is only so much use to his nephew in his new life. Trigger/Content Warning: grief/loss. Some innuendos. Some sensual content. Characters discuss sex/sexuality.
