"Lucky" Larry is your average American retiree. He loves nothing more than doing a little night fishing and drinking a few cold ones. There's nothing like enjoying the peace of nature and reflecting on a life well spent.
When an uninvited stranger invades his fishing spot, the two strike up conversation about their respective histories. Things take an abrupt turn into absurdity, and by the end of the night, Larry will need all the luck he can muster if he wants to retain his sanity.

Louis and Harry grew up together, and were best friends even in their earliest memories. They are 12 years old when Louis has to move to Australia, and they never expect anything to be the same again. They make a pact, a promise to one another, put it in a bottle and throw it out to sea.
