Layla has always been clever and although not coming from one of the wealthiest families in East London she's been pegged as an Oxbridge candidate since she was 15. That all changes when she is diagnosed with cancer at the age of 18 right before her A-levels. Depressed and distraught she flunks her tests and drops out of school waiting for the inevitable. Olyvar has always had the easy life. Living in an upmarket property in Kensington he was spoon fed with a gold spoon. Having a passion for music he's always found instruments easy and is a whiz at composing. After leaving school at 16 his first single as a singer song writer was a big hit and from there his life went even up higher. What happens when these two very different people meet? What happens when they find they have more in common then they first realised?
This story is based around a song called Long Live the Queen by Frank Turner. All rights to the lyrics belong to him and go check him out, brilliant singer song writer!

In front of her parents he's an angel, and in public he's the most affectionate boyfriend a girl could have. But Tony has these 'rules'. And whenever Layla supposedly breaks one he beats her. Finally Layla gets up the courage to dump Tony, but he doesn't take it well. Layla finds herself running for her life to a random stranger who helps her and gets her to the hospital. When Layla finally does get out of the hospital she finds Tony will not leave her alone so easily, and her once savior now becomes a love interest and menace. And if her Karsen and Layla start a romance will she be able to forget the past and truly love him. Or will it be too hard for her to trust again? But what about when her new boyrfriend Karsen hits her? And when Tony comes back stronger than before and determined to have Layla back. Will she give second chances? Her surrounding nature kills off any and all possibilities of trying to look on the bright side of life. She tends to stick around her friends instead of staying home with her so called family. Her family is always working constantly, and she doesn't really get the attention a teenage girl needs. Sure she gets the money but that is not what she wants or needs. She wants a family who will sit and eat around the dinner table asking, "How was your day?" Her father was murdered by one of his co-workers. Her mother is always at work so she doesn't really get those heart-to- heart conversations like most people can. Alice Knight: She is turning 18 in a month and is hoping to become a dancer for Evelyn. She is a senior in high school just hoping to get a good job and become successful in life. She is a bit klutzy and constantly having blonde moments. She passes the classes that she is taking as if it were a fly by to her. She is the witty person of her family and acts just her father. She is also very sarcastic and is always using the trait with ease. She talks all the time and her talking is sometimes compared to the Energizer Bunny, on going, never ends. Alice has brown hair and brown eyes. Alice's surrounding nature is always getting distracted by something. Her family was a normal family. Her mom died in a car crash when she was 13. She got along with her mom a lot better than her dad. After her mom died in the car crash, her dad started abusing alcohol. Her dead and her fight a lot. Her dad makes the stupidest choices ever.
