This is a story about an Elemental, named Alexa, who lives in a tree. Alexa goes on a journey and ends up getting her first kiss while she's at it, but of course, her first kiss is with a maniac.How does she get back at the maniac for kissing her? Who does she meet along the way? Does anyone die halfway through the book? All good questions, unfortunately I'm not going to answer them. I guess you'll have to read the book to find out.

But on August 14th, 3044 a new species called the Anoch landed on our planet. The humans immediately categorized them as a threat and split the world into two halves by a stone wall. Humans on one side, Anoch on the other. Everyone seems to have adjusted to this change and go on with life as if everything was normal. But not me. I was only six when it happened. It's now the year 3054 and I still find it all strange. The new life the humans have been forced to live. The way the Anoch are treated as if they're some sort of experiment. And it seems like I'm the only one who cares enough to find the truth. I'm the one who snuck out. And you wouldn't believe what I found behind the wall.

They planned a mass attack on the U.S. on July 2, 2076, Americas 300th birthday. On that day, they assassinated the president and began bombing in New York. Unfortunately, Chaos only had about 200 soldiers so they came up with a technology to implant a chip in the nervous system and essentially control them. So basically, each solider could make a civilian a soldier and the civilian would be forced to fight and make soldiers of their own. The whole operation snowballed and everything went according to plan. Unlike in other stories, there is no hope and the only way to survive is though the CPO (citizen protection organization), created by Benjamin Franklin. It's a system of secret subway tunnels, used to evacuate civilians to safely. Out story begins on July 2, 2076 when the first bomb drops. Madalyn Grace and her friends are caught in this apocalypse and must find away to leave.
