In 1864, Fell's Church burned down. In it, there were 27 vampires that were supposed to die, yet were protected by Emily Bennett. Unknown to anyone but the vampires, a kitsune was accidentally captured with them. Swearing chaos and grief to those who imprisoned her, Rose Kennedy created a spirit to avenge her. A Nogitsune. It has wandered Mystic Falls for a century and a half, waiting for a victim with an open mind. 150 Years later, after Matt Donovan gets his head messed with by a Traveller, the door into his mind remains open. The spirit has found its victim.
