Every teenager in town knew that in order to survive high school you had to do two things:
1. Avoid Tori Williams.
2. Befriended Daniel Thomas.

Tori just doesn't care.
She doesn't care that every girl in the school hates her, she doesn't care that her family is falling apart, she doesn't care that the whole school thinks she's a slut, she doesn't care about her bad grades. Or at least that's what she wants people to think.
Daniel, in the opposite, cares too much.
He is always willing to help those who need it, no matter who it is.
He doesn't mind listening to his friends' problems. Everybody in school likes him, and not just because he is good looking and the number one in sports, but because they know that if they need help, Daniel Thomas will help them.
