Ah, yes, purgatory. Kyder's whole life has been a purgatory. Or so it feels...
What sins did he commit? Maybe it was the sins of what he saw.
The thing is, he's not a Roman-Catholic. Honestly, he doesn't know what to believe in.
Because he can't tell reality and fiction, truth and lies, imagination and monotony, apart.
He's had it since he was born. He SEES things. Sometimes they're real...
More recently, he finds that they're not. He's never gone for a diagnosis.
He knows that schizophreniacs imagine things that aren't there, and they hear voices in their
heads, but he doesn't see MONSTERS.
He sees realistic things. His instinct was to never tell his parents, or his neighbours, cousins, etc.
Kyder Ileanne made sure he wasn't really friends with anyone either.
After all, he didn't want anyone thinking he's crazy.
HE ONLY SEES THINGS THAT ARE FAKE.
       THEY'RE NOT REAL.
        ... Or are they?

Emmy's life is going just as she'd planned: She's living in her own apartment, dancing every day and is just leaps away from being named her company's next Prima ballerina. And she's only 17. But all of Emmy's plans come to a screeching halt when the FBI shows up at her door to let her know that she's being stalked by a serial killer. Suddenly, the safe, insulated world she created for herself is riddled with violence, fear...and a growing pile of dead bodies. At first Emmy wants nothing more than to forget her chilling new reality - but her admirer isn't finished with her yet, and before she knows it, Emmy's stuck in a nightmare she can't dance her way out of.
