The year is 2693, and alike the fears of those in the past, a disease is laying riot across the world. Click. A genetic mutation caused by the disposition of our ancestors to click their joints has created a condition that is killing Earth's inhabitants. This was a huge shock to the majority of the world...but not all.

Texas McKay has lost everyone, or so she thinks. She's been training people on how to survive and how to protect themselves from the infected, so what happens when some people she knows appear in the recruits? Some are infected, some are not, but there's no way of telling until the first click.
